Building Blocks for Ethernet Storage

The EtherDrive SRX series provides the foundation for the EtherDrive storage system by enabling low latency, high bandwidth data transfer between hosts and data on the network. Each SRX runs a distributed storage operating system to pool individual systems together into a single platform.

The SRX works in conjunction with the EtherDrive ZX appliances to provide logical volume management and features such snapshots, clones, and remote replication.

EtherDrive SRX appliances leverage a massively parallel, connectionless storage networking fabric and software intelligence to aggregate commodity hardware resources and manage them as a pooled resource.

EtherDrive SRX block storage appliances are available in 24- to 36-disk configurations, with the ability to mix-and-match SATA, SAS, and solid-state drives (SSDs). Each SRX appliance is a self-contained storage system providing RAID protection with local storage processing.
