Coraid EtherDrive Host Bus Adapters and driver software enable your x86 server to connect to EtherDrive storage arrays to deliver an affordably fast Ethernet SAN. Coraid provides support for VMware, RedHat, CentOS, Windows, Oracle Solaris, and Linux operating systems
Coraid certified SAS, SATA and SSD drives are tested to ensure compatibility with EtherDrive SRX storage appliances.
Coraid HBAs
Coraid EtherDrive SAN HBAs leverage the power of Ethernet to provide a flexible tier of high performance scale-out storage. The software driver and HBA perform the translation of the disk requests to the EtherDrive storage array. EtherDrive LUNs appear as locally attached SCSI disks on the Server host.
MultiPath is built into the EtherDrive HBA driver and requires no configuration. The EtherDrive HBA automatically detects all network paths to EtherDrive SAN storage and utilizes each path to load balance all data packets bound for EtherDrive SAN storage.

With Coraid, you can scale out on-demand, adding capacity on the fly as business needs change. The scale-out design also enables an innovative Zero-Hour Support model, enabling the simple swap of drives between chassis to immediately recover from a failure.
