 SATA Disk RAID Storage
EtherDrive Storage Appliances use the open ATA-over-Ethernet (AoE) network storage protocol. AoE is a fast, simple, affordable alternative to Fibre Channel or iSCSI storage.
AoE enables disk drives to become AoE devices connected directly to an Ethernet network. An
AoE device can be a single physical disk or a logical device made up of multiple
disks. EtherDrive Appliances are AoE target devices.
The SATA Disk RAID Storage Appliances listed below will accept standard SATA hard disk drives, and can be purchased with or without disk drives.

The SR431 is an EtherDrive Storage Appliance in a 1U rack mount
storage chassis, with 4 front access, hot swap disk holders, for
standard 3.5" SATA hard disk drives.
This product does not
include disk drives. Enterprise class disk drives can be ordered
seperately from Coraid (see Accessory Items) or users may use any SATA
compliant 3.5" disk drive. |
